Calling the Protestant protest at the Reformation strife, Kenneth Copeland said, during his Kairos meeting in late October that the Protestant protest is over. “Most of the church don’t know its over,” he said of the Protestant Reformation. Speaking of his trip to the Vatican at the invitation of Tony Palmer, Copeland said, “One of the favorite days in my life, was with Pope Francis. What a man. He’s one of my heroes.”
Then he made this astounding statement. “I just heard the Lord say this just two days ago,” Copeland said, “2018 is the year of the Holy Ghost and fire.”
Do you think that has anything to do with Revelation 12:13 and 14? “And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.”
Do you think the charismatic movement has anything to do with fulfilling end-time prophecies? Will they lead America back to worship laws as described in Revelation 13?
“The time is now, Copeland added, “for the unity of the faith.”
Later, Copeland also made this pronouncement. “I release, by the authority invested in me as a prophet of God, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I release the fire of God! Burn the chaff! Burn…”
“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.” Matthew 24:11.
False prophets did rise, deceiving the people and leading great numbers into the desert. Magicians and sorcerers, claiming miraculous power, drew the people after them into the mountain solitudes. But this prophecy was spoken also for the last days. This sign is given as a sign of the Second Advent. DA 631
